Whether you are wearing our luxury raw bundles, closures, frontals, or wigs, proper maintenance is the key to keeping your hair soft, full, and long-lasting. Our goal is to help you protect your investment while also supporting the health of your natural hair underneath.
Raw hair is a luxury product, and just like your natural hair, it deserves consistent care. With the right routine, your bundles can maintain their softness, natural movement, and beautiful texture for years to come.
Bundle Recommendations
Choosing the right number of bundles depends on the look you want to achieve and the length you are purchasing. If you love a full, glamorous look, adding an extra bundle is always recommended.
12”–16”
2 bundles are typically enough for a natural full look.
18”–22”
3 bundles are recommended for a fuller appearance.
24”–32”
4 bundles are strongly recommended for the best fullness, especially with longer lengths.
If you want an even more dramatic, luxurious look, you may always add additional bundles based on your styling preference.
Daily Hair Care Tips
To keep your RAW & Rich by LA extensions looking their best, we recommend treating them with the same care you would give your natural hair.
Brush or comb the hair gently from the ends upward, working your way toward the roots to prevent unnecessary shedding or breakage. Always use a wide-tooth comb or a soft paddle brush, especially on curly textures.
For curly and wavy textures, use a spray bottle with water and a light leave-in conditioner to refresh the pattern and maintain softness. Avoid heavy products that may weigh the hair down or cause buildup.
At night, wrap your hair with a satin or silk scarf, or sleep on a satin pillowcase to help reduce friction, dryness, and tangling. This is especially important for maintaining the softness and longevity of your bundles.
Washing Your Extensions
We recommend washing your extensions with a sulfate-free shampoo and a moisturizing conditioner. Gently cleanse the hair in a downward motion and avoid rough scrubbing, which can cause tangling.
After washing, allow the hair to air dry whenever possible. You may use heat styling tools, but always apply a heat protectant first to help preserve the quality of the hair.
Curly textures should be handled with extra care during washing. Finger detangle gently and avoid disturbing the curl pattern too much while the hair is wet.

Important Care Notes
Because our hair is 100% raw and unprocessed, each bundle is unique. Slight differences in texture, color, and pattern are natural and should be expected. This is part of what makes raw hair so beautiful and authentic.
With proper care and maintenance, our raw hair can last 5 to 6 years or longer. To protect the integrity of the hair, we recommend limiting excessive heat and always using quality products.
If your bundles have been colored or customized, additional care is required to maintain the softness and overall health of the hair.
